Q. Hi Beth.
I have been seeing this child at my house for a few weeks now and she will even follow me to school…. I tried to tell a friend and he laughed and called me crazy. Is it possible this is a gift? Also things have been flying at me from random places, the most recent attack was a plastic knife that was lying on the counter flying at my head. Im no longer sure what to think….. The laughter of the girl echoes whenever I get hurt. I would like to know if I am crazy or what? More kids have joined her recently, and the things thrown more dangerous.

A. This is indeed a gift. You are a medium, so ghosts (spirits who have not crossed to the other side) are attracted to you, as they are aware you can communicate with them. (even if you are not aware of that fact yet) They are trying to get your attention. They are attracted to you because they know you can help them.
They may also come in groups, for instance in such a tragedy as, with these who are coming through to you, that many children died together, and are all still here together seeking justice for their deaths.
If they are bothering you, or you are not yet ready to try to (or learn to) communicate with them, simply tell them you do not want to talk right now, and to go away!
As for learning to work with your natural medium ability, the first steps reside in letting go of your fear(s), learning to trust, and learning to ground and protect yourself. You are more in control than you realize at this point.
